I asked a couple of people to submit to me there 3 tools they needed in there business. The two people below also included a brief BIO, and the three tools with a brief description. One of the most important tools I use is my email program Mad Mimi. I love them since they are almost completely accessible any part that is not accessible their awesome customer service will help you with in less than an hour. This allows me to send out my own emails and not need to rely on someone else’s help. When I first started with Madmimi they helped me set up a template, and they even redesigned my logo! The template allows me to clone so I know all my emails look the same, oh and the button for cloning has a sheep on it they tell me. The cost was right it was free until I hit 100 people on my list then now it is only $10.60 a month, which I think is a deal considering everything you get and I really can’t say enough about the customer service. I am also able to set up auto responders along with opt-in forms. Right now I have a course that has 10 lessons and I have it set up through Mad Mimi that my student will receive a lesson a day. It is so very easy to see your statistics for any email you send out. You are able to personalize and change just about anything. I haven’t had any problems with my access technology interacting with their site which is something else I really like.
My website is Word Press which makes it easy for me to be independent. I am able to make changes fairly easily. I did purchase a book called Word Press for Bad Eyes http://wpforbadeyes.com/ which has helped me in my journey to being more self sufficient. Now I can add and change pages. I am even starting to learn basic codes so as I am evolving so are my website. I am also able to control the plug-ins as I learn and grow. Once I downloaded about 10 plug-ins and now I understand why that was a bad idea. I think having control is important because then people can get more of a sense of who you are.
I also love Pic Monkey, since posts on social media with pictures or graphics get more shares I can go into Pic Monkey and make my own graphics. The site is not really accessible, but since I have some site with my magnification I can read the labels. Making the graphics is also relaxing for me. I have designed my logo and the t-shirts I have on my website. I also try to add a picture to most of my posts on social media. If I am just adding a picture I generally find them at Pixabay which has tons of free pictures.
Lastly I am going to add Buffer even though I don’t know a lot about it yet. This program allows you to collect articles from all your favorite websites and your own posts and then schedules them to post to all of your social media. It also has a feature that tells you the best time to post. It is not completely accessible yet, but they are really working to make it accessible and value our input.

I have to begin with the one resource that enables me to pull everything else together. As a blind entrepreneur, Apple products make managing clients’ accounts and staying organized accessible, elegant, and efficient. The ability to sink business related tasks gives me the flexibility to conduct work at home on my Mac and continue assignments via my iPhone while on the go.
- Google Apps for Work
Since Apple products are the foundation for me to build my business upon, Google Apps for Work is definitely a huge part of the house. This platform is a must for any serious entrepreneur. Google’s seamless built in integration allows me to manage appointments via my calendar, easily collaborate with team members, and send professional looking emails.
- Drop Box
Hands down this is my go to resource when it comes to sharing documents with team members and clients. I love the overwhelming accessibility Drop Box offers. I can create, edit, and share documents on the Mac, PC, and iPhone alike.
