Problems I was facing with my old email marketing company

This is a follow-up to yesterdays episode, check it out at how and why I got started email marketing.

Tomorrow, we are going to chat about Why I switched to Convertkit

In yesterdays episode you know I got started with a replicated system. This system was quick and easy to get new people started with however didn’t give me the flexibility I needed in an email marketing system.

I was told   that trying AWeber would be better, giving me more flexibility then what the replicated system would give me. I Was able to use AWeber, however things weren’t the easiest to use. There were unlabeled buttons and links, and some of the systems didn’t work the way I expected them to work. One time, I was going to send a broadcast message, however couldn’t get the system to accept any text I entered. I dealt  with this, after coding the message so I only had to replace the text of the message and paste it into the editor.

The straw that broke the camels back for me with AWeber was that they released campaigns. I was very excited about campaigns, then learned the drag and drop wasn’t accessible. When I say it wasn’t accessible, I couldn’t figure out how to use it. The list automation features campaigns provided really got me excited however and I needed to find something that worked.

I heard about Convertkit and put it off for a while. Tomorrow I’ll tell you why I switched to Convertkit, and why I’ll be staying. Hint, why I’m staying had a direct relation to why I left AWeber.
